About NAX Skincare

NAX Skincare didn't start as a business plan. It started with sunburned skin, dark spots, and a teenager back home from school in Ghana, dealing with the kind of skin issues so many of us grew up with and just accepted as normal.

That teenager was Ayikailey. Business has always been part of her life; watching her parents run their own business growing up gave her an entrepreneurial spirit long before she understood what that word meant. She sold sweets in junior high. By senior high, her real love had already found her: skincare. She was the girl mixing her own scrubs at home, experimenting with whatever she could find, obsessed with the idea that your skin could actually get better, not just stay the same.

Then her mum introduced her to black soap. Her skin changed. People noticed. They started asking what she was doing differently, and one question at a time, a business was born.

Ayikailey taught herself formulation, learned what different skin types and body parts actually needed, and built out a full range: body butters, shea butter, and eventually a reformulated black soap made better than the one that started it all. She's not done either; there are scrubs and face creams already in the works, waiting for their moment to launch.
